Additional Information
This coffee is from the Huehuetenango (Way-Way-Ten-Ango) region, in Guatemala. Coffees from the Huehuetenango region stand out for their unique cupping characteristics. This specific offering is a real crowd pleaser, and is one of our customers’ favorites. Overall we were blown away with how naturally and pleasantly sweet this coffee is and how that sweetness holds up at all levels of the roast spectrum. Roasted medium, this coffee has tasting notes of brown sugar, cola and light cherry notes with a balanced body. Roasted medium/dark, this coffee has more milk chocolate forward flavors with syrupy/viscous body. We love this coffee as a single origin and as a base in a blend. This coffee holds up well to any brewing method, we love it on drip, as cold brew, and think it makes for a real nice single origin espresso.
Behind the coffee: The amazing farm Finca Beatriz is located in San Pedro Necta. Currently Finca Beatriz is managed by Don Felipe and his two sons Carlos and Leonardo. We consider the RamĂrez as pioneers in coffee research and development as they experimented with new processing methods and fermentation techniques before the third wave coffee trend began. Once you taste Finca Beatriz cup you will never forget it, this is a truly specialty coffee. ( Dinamica)
