Vista Hermosa, is truly what the name implies; translating from Spanish as “beautiful view”, the farm from which this amazing coffee comes from overlooks the Jamundy Canyon which runs through the Andes in the south of Colombia. Producer Evardo Ortiz inherited the farm from his father and is now focused on expansion. He has planted 5,000 new trees, bringing his currently total to 12,000 trees and his next goal is to build a wet mill on the property.
Pink Bourbons are known for their unique flavor profiles which, like this offering, have floral and citrus fruit flavors and a very pleasant sweetness. While they are challenging to grow and maintain, the end product is a beautifully complex coffee with a velvet mouthful. This offerings floral qualities are perfect to kickoff spring.
